A wave buoy critical to safe passage in Cape Cod Bay deploys in partnership with MassDEP, the U.S. Coast Guard, Woods Hole Group, and NOAA CO-OPS. The buoy delivers real-time wave data to aid vessel navigation and improve marine forecasts.
