Northeastern Regional Association of Coastal Ocean Observing Systems
Since 2009, Northeastern Regional Association of Coastal Ocean Observing Systems (NERACOOS) has implemented the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System from Long Island Sound through the Gulf of Maine. We believe that everybody should have the information they need to support maritime safety, national security, coastal preparedness, and strong economies.

We operate a regional network of tools, from buoys to gliders to computer models, to produce information about the ocean.
Consolidate Data in One Place
We make information more accessible by integrating many sources of ocean data in one place.
